What did i do to my bike?

I dropped my bike in some sand today:( but anyways now it wont start the crash bar bent inward so i had to bend it back and i dented the exhaust, when i click the start on it just makes that whiney starting noise. I just bought this bike and its my only trasportation and i dont have any money left to fix it so please help! ummmm... oh yeah its a yamaha vstar 2002 1100. also the overheat light keeps coming on but the bikes been off for a while and the oil light pops on too even though it has plenty of oil. well thats all i can think of thank you!
