the witchespredicted that Macbeth would becom King, and that Banquo's son would also be King. Macbeth reacts by making it happen, whereas Banquo just waited for it to happen but very happy. Macbeth was nervous because his wife was pushing him to become king, and was nervous because he had to kill Duncan. He was reluctant because Macbeth thought Duncan was a good man.
