Am I likely to experience another lung collapse?
My right lung recently collapsed 50% due to a bleb rupture and I was put on suction with a chest tube in me. I was in the hospital for a week. I'm out now and doing better but the doctor said it can happen again. He estimated about a 15% chance of recurrence. I have several other blebs on that lung that can rupture at any time. I don't play sports or smoke or anything, so things like that aren't increasing my chances. Do you think it will probably happen again? Has anyone experienced this and did it happen a second or even third time? Any personal experiences from a doctor/nurse, family member, patient perspective?
