Why do English players even bother getting married if they cheat on their wives in the first place...?

They have to keep up appearances. Pro athletes cheat on their spouses man. It's been happening for a long time. The media thrives on this kind of turmoil in famous peoples' lives. And if the athlete, or in this case an English player, is rude or off putting to the media than the media will portray them in a more negative fashion, embellishing the story and telling half truths. It's a vicious cycle...if you're a cheating lying pro athlete who gets caught haha!
