Do you think the Virginia Tech shootings will affect 2008 graduate school enrollment?

Most definitley. I think admission will drop almost as much as 50%. This is around the time of year that kids decide what college they are going to, and any of them who considered Virginia Tech, are defintley gonna go somewhere else. There athletic department will take a hit which means many people will have to get laid off. Many students that are currently at Virginia Tech are likely to transfer at the end of the semester. My brother is a freshman at Virginia Tech and he told me that he is 99% sure that he will transfer, and many of his friends also have displayed interest in transferring to another school.
