Could a slaughtered manatee do a better job managing The Pittsburgh Pirates' Front Office right now?

I tend to look at it as the gl half full. Yes, the Pirates are bad, there is no mistaking that. However, they are 7-12. You know, they could be the Orioles. If Pirates fans can take a little solace it's that they aren't the worst team in baseball....yet.
